Culture Trip videos have been viewed more than two billion times.Everyone working at Culture Trip is driven by a shared vision: to inspire people to go beyond their cultural boundaries and connect with the world around them.The RoleWe're looking for a Video Team Coordinator to take ownership of the various parts of our video team operations, across post production, production and general ops. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Post production:* Create weekly post-production schedule for all editors* Maintain the edit queue, managing a balance between new projects with existing, high and low priority (non commercial) commissions* Monitoring deadlines for all post jobs - ensuring they are on track to be met and troubleshooting when they haven't* Ongoing work monitoring time it takes to edit films and helping the team find efficiencies in workflow* Supporting the Senior Video Editor and Producers to ensure best practice is maintained in all organisational aspects of post production workflow* Scheduling time for urgent requests and, where possible, gathering assets and rushes prior to handing over to editor* Be the contact point and facilitator for our translation / transcription partner as our films are in multiple languages* First point of contact for all ingest / download links from filmmakers* Managing rushes process, via hard drives or DAM* Checking rushes for errors, glitches etc. and ensuring all files are receivedProduction: * Supporting the crewing process in pre and post production, and helping maintain our book of freelancers and suppliers * Supporting the commercial ideas and production process where needed* Working with other teams, including brand design studio, to have all elements of production ready for edit* Working with other teams to ensure all assets are QC'd and ready for delivery, often to tight deadlines * Provide a link between the on-site and social video teams, before, during and after productionGeneral operations* Helping team implement the move from hard drives to a DAM system and maintaining our log of content and capacity* Being a super user of Monday.com to help monitor team's output* Helping select our ongoing video of the week* Working with other teams to launch video-led projects across media, on-site, micro-site or social channels * Working knowledge of JW Player to support delivery and distribution of our video * Troubleshooting people, team and processPost production:* Create weekly post-production schedule for all editors* Maintain the edit queue, managing a balance between new projects with existing, high and low priority (non commercial) commissions* Monitoring deadlines for all post jobs - ensuring they are on track to be met and troubleshooting when they haven't* Ongoing work monitoring time it takes to edit films and helping the team find efficiencies in workflow* Supporting the Senior Video Editor and Producers to ensure best practice is maintained in all organisational aspects of post production workflow* Scheduling time for urgent requests and, where possible, gathering assets and rushes prior to handing over to editor* Be the contact point and facilitator for our translation / transcription partner as our films are in multiple languages* First point of contact for all ingest / download links from filmmakers* Managing rushes process, via hard drives or DAM* Checking rushes for errors, glitches etc. and ensuring all files are receivedCulture Trip is committed to equality of opportunity for all.
