Video Production Coordinator

London / Remote/ On location

The Royal Horticultural Society is recruiting a production co-ordinator to organise and help manage the growing in-house video production team. Video production at the RHS has gone from strength to strength over the last two years, and we're looking for someone with strong organisational and planning skills, who can hit the ground running and help us as we take on some exciting film projects on a larger scale.

This year we opened a new garden in Salford at RHS Bridgewater, cut the ribbon to RHS Hilltop: The Home of Gardening Science, and held the Chelsea Flower Show in September for the first time in history. Our Grow at Home series provides useful advice to gardeners, Houseplant 101 and Get Set, Grow! were aimed at new gardeners, while Virtual Chelsea gave an online taste of the world's most famous flower show after it had been postponed due to Covid.

Next year we want to grow our film offering by producing in-depth masterclasses, fascinating documentaries on the cultural history of gardening, and feature hidden horticultural talents from across the nation.

With production talent being spread across the country, we are keen to take applications from everyone. The only requirements are that you can easily travel to an RHS Garden and travel to our offices in London an average of once per week.

The RHS provides a number of great benefits for employees including:
Free parking for staff working at one of the five gardens
Free access to all RHS Gardens and Flower Shows
20% discount on all RHS Retail
Discounted food and drink from the catering outlets at the gardens
Employee discounts at high street retailer and cash back scheme
25 days' holiday (increasing to 28 and 30 with service)
Bike to work scheme
Pension with employers' contribution, which increases with length of service
Employee Assistance Programme for staff and immediate family
Monthly Garden magazine and access to gardening advice
Sponsorship for external studies

We look forward to hearing from you.
