Role PurposeThe Video Producer works within the Creative Content team to ideate, create and deliver compelling stories that resonate with audiences. They are responsible for working with the Head of Video and with the design and editorial departments, collaborating in meetings, on briefs and leading shoots to produce highly-polished, on-trend, beautifully written branded content. They must be an experienced video producer, who understands how to curate high quality, glossy content as well as fast turn-around, always on content. They will have the proven ability to work across and pull together multiple projects simultaneously with a strong awareness of digital trends. Must have extensive shoot experience and feel confident leading small - large scale shoots. The candidate must also have proven edit producing experience. Beamly's creative scope comprises of 4 inter-related areas:Marketing Science: Using 1st to 3rd party data to discover and better predict effective content messaging, creative approaches, targeting criteria and target platforms for digital marketing campaignsContent Foundry: Creative that enable brands to use data to make more effectiveness and more engaging campaign content, sourcing from Beamly and Beamly-accredited digital-first, mobile-first creative partnersMedia Optimization: Creative that enables real-time optimization of social and programmatic digital marketing campaigns according to brand objectives Website and eCommerce: Creative for next-gen website hosting, building, dynamic user journey optimization, engagement and conversion into e-commerce and in store activationKey responsibilities• Ideating and producing detailed and accurate briefs for brand-affiliated video and photo shoots, then taking lead from concept through to execution. • Writing concepts, presenting to clients, storyboarding, scripting, shooting and edit producing. • Working collaboratively (pre-production, on-shoot and post-production) with the Design team to ensure all visual assets are brand-appropriate and to Beamly standard. • Sourcing new talent and freelancers (models, photographers, makeup artists) and managing relationships with these contacts on an ongoing basis.• Maintaining a strong knowledge and understanding of the worldwide beauty conversation, including in-depth knowledge of existing/emerging trends.• Utilising social listening tools to ensure that all Beamly content is relevant to the current beauty zeitgeist and answers the needs of the consumer, as well as the brand.Experience Requirements• Minimum 5 years of video production experience. • Ability to create detailed storyboards, set up and lead a shoot, as well as producing the edit.• Ability to understand brand and industry jargon, market awareness and strategic business goals to campaign creation• Total fluency with current and emerging beauty trends - must know your Barry M from your Anastasia Beverley Hills• An obsession with tracking which parts of your output have succeeded (or failed) with your audience - and spreading learnings to the rest of the team• Ability to work in a self-directed way in an unstructured, fast-changing, highly collaborative environment.CompetenciesThe following behaviours and characteristics are key to success in the job.
