Could you create inspirational video content to help shape our identity as the leading authoritative voice on the rights of women and girls living in poverty?ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls. We are ending violence and fighting poverty so that all women, everywhere, can create the future they want.As ActionAid's Video Producer, you will produce shareable, emotionally engaging video content for social channels, for reactive purposes as well as long-term projects. You will provide a specialist video production service across ActionAid UK to expand the use of video across key channels supporting news, brand marketing, fundraising, events and campaigns.This exciting role will work within a team of content editors, storytellers and brand specialists to lead the creation of social assets that produce innovative storytelling on multiple platforms. During humanitarian emergencies you will ensure that ActionAid is highly visible, coming up with ideas in real time and rolling them out on social channels.You will be responsible for managing the production of multiple video projects from start to finish including conceptualising, coordinating, scripting and editing. As well as editing key projects, you will also be commissioning freelancers to shoot, edit and deliver video, ensuring outputs meet client needs, budgets and deadlines.To excel in this role, you need experience in digital video production with a thorough understanding of costs, production and timeframes. You must demonstrate knowledge of visual storytelling techniques, strong editing skills, proficiency in video production software and proven expertise in video promotion.Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media platforms, social video techniques and the different ways new audiences consume content on them. You will be highly creative, collaborative, good at meeting deadlines and skilled at controlling costs. Technical experience in motion graphics and animation is also desirable.To apply for this role, you must provide examples of your video production work.
