Working with the video team to edit online programming for a range of our technology, gaming and business websites.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

To create programming that is dynamic, creative and engaging.

Creating programming that communicates to our viewers the passion and knowledge
of our various site's subjects.

Using a broad palette of visual effects skills to broaden and enhance the look and feel
of our programming

Creation of motion graphics, introductory stings, and bumpers that creatively show
off the best in our brands, while remaining consistent with site branding.

Delivering to a fixed and ad hoc production schedule across a variety of formats, including pre- recorded, live, on-location and studio shoots.

Ability to edit to tight turnaround times.

Encoding to a variety of formats for playback on the web

Staying ahead of the field in terms of your knowledge of interactive video, audio standards, and editing packages.

Experience / Skills:

Experience with and knowledge of video editing software, media codecs, streaming technology, encoding software, motion graphics - Expert Experience Essential on Final Cut Pro, Motion, After Effects. Knowledge of Photoshop, Flash Soundtrack Pro, and Color an advantage

Proven experience in video post-production for a professional organisation

Exceptional communication skills; a passion for the internet, technology and / or gaming, and a willingness to match that passion with an intelligent, consistent, and fully committed, hands- on approach to the task at hand

Post production audio experience would also be a benefit

Knowledge of web based video formats such as Flash, and the process of converting video for playback in an online environment

HD video production and an interest in technology and gaming is a plus!
