As a Video Editor, you will bring a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of video content creation to the Campaign and Creative team at Gymshark. Your key responsibilities will involve editing cutting-edge video content for a multitude of social media and marketing platforms, developing concepts and ideas in collaboration with other creatives within the business, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible for Gymshark within video content.

You will work on a variety of projects, from international scale campaigns to localised campaigns and Gymshark app content, each presenting its own challenges and objectives. You will work collaboratively with other video editors to contribute to one another's success, sharing ideas and executions to become a powerful and reliable Video Editing team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
You will be editing video content for various social media platforms and marketing channels in line with a brief.
Developing ideas and concepts specific to video editing to be implemented into campaign development and execution.
Owning the post-production process for your projects, working closely with the project manager to hit deadlines for key milestones.
Carrying out colour grading that is fit for purpose and adds finesse to Gymshark video content.
Carrying out audio editing such as clean ups, soundtrack editing, voice over etc.
You will source and licence music/audio to be used for various platforms and media spends, ensuring it is in line with the 'Gymshark sound' and represents the brand correctly.
Creating and implementing visual effects of 2D and 3D nature into video projects.
You will work closely with the Senior Video Editor and Senior Video Producer through regular meetings and discussions to ensure alignment across the wider video team.
You will be responsible for archiving files in a professional and logical way, in line with a pre-established format.
You will collaborate with the creative team to ensure video editing execution is in line with the initial concept execution plans.
You will work closely with several members of the marketing team to best understand executions for multiple platforms, what performs well, what our limitations are with certain media types and where we can improve.
Maintain a clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices and all execution channels such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, IGTV, Facebook etc.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Agency, freelance or in-house experience.
Proven track record in video editing that is effective and fit for purpose.
Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, especially Premiere Pro, Audition, After effects.
Good knowledge and experience in more advanced software's such as Black Magic Davinci Resolve, Cinema 4D.
Methodical approach to archiving video files.
Ability to follow creative direction whilst also thinking outside the box.
An impeccable and fierce attention for detail.
Preferred to have awareness of the Gymshark Brand.
You will require experience in a fast-paced environment and embrace change, not resistant to it.
You must have the ability to build and maintain relationships with all types of personalities.
A good understanding of brand and corporate guidelines.
A good understanding of media law, copyright and usage rights.
Creative thinker with the ability to get the most out of each brief.
Combine a creative, innovative approach with commercial ideas.
Excellent interpersonal skills - being able to quickly establish effective relationships at all levels (internal & external) with gravitas and strength.
Able to get ideas across effectively to gain relevant buy-in and support.
