Video Editor (Social First)

London HYBRID

MANUAL is looking for a talented and creatively driven Video Editor to join our in-house team. This role is ideal for someone who believes video isn't just content, it's a growth lever, a storytelling tool, and a way to genuinely change how people think and act.

You'll play a key role in editing and producing high-impact, social-first video content that brings our brand, mission and medical expertise to life.

We're looking for a hands-on creator with strong storytelling instincts, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how video performs across platforms. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves iterating on ideas, and knows how to maximise shoots and future-proof content for ongoing testing and optimisation.

As a Video Editor, you'll own the editing, versioning and delivery. You'll work closely with our in-house production, creative and growth teams to turn insights into video that stops thumbs, builds trust, and drives action.

Please share a link to your portfolio or work samples when applying.

What you'll do

Editing -Deliver high-quality, performance-ready edits including colour grading, sound mixing, captioning and motion graphics. Produce multiple cut-downs, hooks and variations optimised for different platforms and placements.

Collaboration - Partner with the wider creative, marketing and growth teams to develop video content aligned to campaign goals, messaging and performance insights.

Storytelling - Bring a strong creative eye to storyboarding, translating complex or sensitive healthcare topics into engaging, human, easy-to-understand visual narratives.

Content Management - Organise and manage video assets efficiently, ensuring footage, edits and project files are structured and accessible for future use, testing and iteration.

Creative Input - Continuously contribute fresh ideas to improve video performance and brand storytelling, staying on top of social, paid media and video trends and knowing when to follow them (and when not to).

Who you are

Experience - 3+ years' experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of social-first and performance-oriented work.

Software Proficiency - Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop). Experience with Final Cut Pro or equivalent tools also considered.

Creativity & Craft - A sharp eye for composition, pacing, colour and detail, with a genuine passion for storytelling through video.

Platform & Social Awareness - A strong understanding of how video works across platforms (Meta, TikTok & YouTube), and how to adapt content for different audiences, formats and algorithms.

Communication & Collaboration - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset - comfortable taking direction, giving feedback and working cross-functionally.

Time Management - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work at speed, and deliver consistently high-quality output under tight deadlines.

Attention to Detail - High standards for polish and accuracy, ensuring all output meets brand, quality and compliance expectations.

Trend Awareness - Up-to-date with evolving video, editing and digital content trends, with the judgement to apply them effectively in a healthcare context.
