An exciting new role within Darbar, the UK's leading Indian classical music organisation and producers of the annual Darbar Festival. Darbar is developing its YouTube presence (www.youtube.com/darbarfestival) and is looking to expand its audio/visual output. With over 150k subscribers we are one of the largest channels for Indian classical music.We are looking for a Video Editor experienced in editing with creativity and with a desire to create outstanding videos and motion graphic experiences to join our friendly West London office in Perivale for 2-3 days per week.This is a key position to deliver compelling and creative video content of both high volume and quality. The material may include camera footage, animation, sound, sound effects, graphics, special effects and dynamic text. This is a key role in the production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the final product. The workflow is fast-paced and varied; in one day you can expect to be working on a number of projects at different stages of the edit. The perfect role for a hands on creative with strong video production skills to really make their mark within our team. Requirements:Knowledge of Indian classical music or inspired by world music is essential.Graduate in Media and FilmExpert at using Adobe Premiere Pro (multi cam editing essential)Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Audition and PhotoshopExperienced in the end to end production processExperience in creating a narrative for both long & short form video contentGood technical understanding of audio, editing and quality controlStrong knowledge of engaging title animation and overall aestheticsKnowledge of producing video for various devices e.g. phone & tabletInterest in new developments and innovation in video content (e.g. 360/VR)Very good organisational skills and ability to balance multiple projects and deadlinesHave at least 5 years professional experience in editing and camera operatingSend an up-to-date CV with covering letter including links to a personal showreel.
