SBD Apparel manufacture premium, performance products in Great Britain, which are used globally by elite athletes and recognised as the market leader in strength and fitness sports. Our branding has been built around the key themes of quality and performance, working with elite athletes and teams globally to actively support and promote the sports we are involved in, and the use of our products within those sports.

Since launching in 2013, SBD Apparel has been recognised as one of the fastest growing international brands, being awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise in 2018. SBD Apparel is now looking for an in-house editor to produce content for website and social media use, showcasing the products, athletes and sports that are central to the brand. The position would be an ideal for a candidate with an interest in strength and fitness sports, with opportunities to work with high profile athletes and events, while developing a long term career within an international sportswear brand.

Role

- Work closely with marketing, management and creative teams on developing ideas for future content
- Cut content from past and future events into engaging clips for social media channels to promote upcoming events
- Editing on location for content uploads at major events
- Plan, shoot and edit video content for short documentaries about new products,
elite athletes and events
- Improve the quality of video content across social media channels and create a
brand style for videos and editing
- Managing the archives of all edited content, projects, and raw footage

Qualities

Required:

- Excellent knowledge of Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience in filmmaking and editing, including colour grading / correction
- Able to shoot with Sony FS7 or similar
- Capableofdevelopingskillsandexploringnewtechniques
- Available for domestic and international travel (estimating 5-7days per month) - Business fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

- Good knowledge of Indesign and After Effects
- Experience of working with freelance professionals - Knowledge of strength and fitness sports
- Experience of international events
- Fluency in a second language
