We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team at Gain Grounds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing short-form video content for our latest digital-first project, Hidden Talent - a show focused on real people, powerful stories, and authentic performances.

You'll be turning raw footage into engaging, emotionally-driven content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This role is ideal for someone who understands digital storytelling, works well under pressure, and can bring their own flair to social-first content.

Requirements
Edit high-quality short-form videos for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Collaborate with producers, content creators, and the marketing team to shape the visual tone
Add captions, basic motion graphics, music, and transitions to enhance storytelling
Maintain a consistent editing style aligned with the project's emotional and community-driven tone
Manage and prioritise multiple edits and content drops weekly
Optimise video pacing and structure to maximise engagement
Ensure fast turnaround times and meet content deadlines
Skills:

Strong editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
Good understanding of what performs well on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Ability to tell stories visually through rhythm, cuts, and music
Familiarity with basic motion graphics and text animations
Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple edits
Detail-oriented with a creative mindset
Excellent communication skills and collaborative working style
