Coupled with securing recent inward investment, the team is in need of a bright and dedicated Editor who can help with all the requirements of the team.About the role Are you a passionate storyteller with bold ambitions? We're on the lookout for a talented Video Editor to join us. This is a great opportunity to put your stamp on a growing and successful team on a mission to reinvest and challenge the industry! We are a fun and hard-working team who take pride in what we do. You will be working across multiple films for high-profile clients in a range of industries - from talking heads to dynamic longer form content, no two weeks are ever the same. You will work closely with a team of unique personalities, from talented producers, designers, directors and animators. The team turns around multiple projects quickly, efficiently and to high specifications. Key Tasks - Work within the team to edit digital video content. - Complete post production for projects including grading, mastering, encoding in different formats and uploading to the web. - Research original images, music and video content as support material to video shoots. - Take a leading role in backing up all data and organising a library of all media. - Perform quality assurance on all video footage. - Take responsibility for video upload. - Accurately archive footage to be easily accessed by the various teams. - Have excellent organisation and time management. - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to clients and team members. - Experience in working with a range of complex projects. - Stay cool under pressure working across multiple projects. - Positive attitude, strong work ethic and being able to work as part of a team is a must. - Be resilient and highly adaptable to change. - Work on After Effects to create graphic assets and simple animation from vectors. - High standard of accuracy on subtitles. - Manage a variety of ongoing projects and be able to work with other editors by adhering to consistent methods and workflows. - Able to work autonomously to sync pull and create strong narrative structures. This is a role that needs a confident, enthusiastic individual who was first to put their hands up in class and isn't afraid to try stuff out. Requirements: - At least 3 years experience inhouse or agency side with knowledge of the production workflow. - An editing background with advanced experience using Adobe Premier and After Effects. - Excellent understanding of video compression and optimisation for web video. - Clearly demonstrate and show examples of production experience. - Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment well under pressure with a flexible, creative attitude both within a team and autonomously. - Strong understanding of audio capture and sound quality control. - Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage. - Knowledge of producing video for various devices e.g. mobile, tablet, etc. and interest of new developments and innovation in video content. - A professional approach to work with great attention to detail, high quality and consistency.
