Malaberg is currently seeking a Video Editor who will edit short and long-form marketing videos to be used online that engage the target audience.

Job Description

Essential experience required:

2-3+ yrs practical video editing experience
Understanding and ability to edit motion graphics
Understanding of social platforms
Ability to sell through video using direct response marketing
Well-versed in Final Cut/Adobe Suite
Understanding of photoshop and photo editing
Dedicated to being the best in your field
Documentary or long-form video experience is a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

Consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content
Creative responsibility and management of projects worked on measured against performance KPIs
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Creating new styles and innovating in the editing process with little guidance
New format ideas

Expectations:

Work closely with and report directly to our post-production director.
Content analysis
Attention to detail
Time management and prioritisation of tasks
Communication with copywriters and freelancers
Editing of the highest standard
