Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects
Script, storyboard, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
Work as part of a team, to establish project deliverables
Collaborate closely with internal clients to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
Develop production schedules
Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organising raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media
Manage video library

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is required
Experience with Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere 3Ds Max
Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life
Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with high quality finalised products

Desirable Skills

Experience with 3D software (such as 3DS Max) and Maxxon software
Knowledge of Web3 themes and subjects, NFTs, Metaverse Platforms
Experience working in gaming and tech
