WWSE Creative Services group are looking for a creative Video Editor with a minimum of 5 years professional experience of editing trailers, promos and TV advertising.The Creative Services Group (CSG) is an award winning centralised internal agency within Sony's Worldwide Studios Europe (WWSE). We endeavour to build a working environment where our people can flourish and create their best work. Structured around six core functional disciplines; Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Video, Film, Sound and Music; we deliver projects in collaboration with our game development and marketing/PR teams. From animation to live action filming, branding to user experience design, music composition to sound design, we offer a huge array of services to our clients.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a video editor with experience of editing trailers, TV advertising or music videos beneficial. You should be comfortable working at pace and is resilient to change and iteration.The successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration and ability to work with direction and to a brief. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are also an important part of this role.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Create video content for all typical CSG projects assigned, with direction and steer from the Head of Video, Senior Video Editor and Creative Leads• Support in house and freelance video editors, with asset gathering, game records, broll cuts and offline edits.• Localisation of all requested content to either srts, subtitled or fully localisation.• Proactively provide updates and highlight risks on video projects to Head of Video & Product Delivery.• Contribute to concept and creative discussions on future projects.• Effectively work to timescales and foresee any complications with detrimental effect to a project.• Assist all members of the Video & Motion team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the department.• Ensure Macs and Storage are all used in the correct manor and files are stored/labeled correctly.REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE & BEHAVIOUS• Minimum 5 years' professional experience as a video editor.• Adobe Premiere or similar non liner editing package.• Adobe After Effects.• Active interest in video and film production routines and methods.• Keen desire to learn new skills.• Ability to work with a director, producer or senior video editor.• Excellent organizational skills.• Strong interpersonal skills.• Ability to work to tight deadlines.• Flexibility and willingness to accommodate feedback.DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE• Adobe Photoshop• Adobe Illustrator• Video encoding• Interest in Film & Video GamesInterest in Graphic Design and Motion GraphicCORE COMPETENCIES• Creative• Technical understanding• Self-motivated• Proactive• Flexible• Organisation
