As workloads increase, we are seeking a number of Video Editors to provide further support to a very busy media team within an established events and media production company, recently recognised as a UK Great Place to Work, based in Cheadle, Cheshire.

As part of a wider Video team, you will deliver post-production video editing as directed by the production teams, providing editorial expertise and creative output to high technical, accuracy and content standards. You'll be confident in both visual and editorial storytelling and experienced in delivering completed projects including sound finishing and grading. You will also be used to working with chroma key, motion tracking and other tools. You'll be adept at getting the best out of footage that can be from a variety of sources and may not always be perfectly acquired, and you'll be used to ensuring your work sounds as good as it looks.

Requirements
What will you be doing?
• Editing videos with speed and accuracy, mostly long-form content, for conference/speaker presentations
• Audio post-production
• Image finishing and grading
• Quality checking
• Internal team communication
• Assisting the production team with estimates/timelines

Requirements
• Experience of editing similar video content for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Significant experience of chroma-keying
• Technically proficient, experience of working in various aspect ratios and harmonising across multiple screens
• In depth understanding of technical requirements, codecs and other video output specifications
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Other image creation software such as 3D and animation packages, particularly After Effects is highly desirable
• Ability to work with both PCs and Macs
• Positive can-do attitude and ability to use initiative
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, calmly and efficiently
• Excellent grasp of UK English to help with quality checking
• Brilliant eye for detail - spots and corrects even the smallest of errors before QC
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience of Project and agency management tools, ideally Synergist, is beneficial
