ImageNova is a film production company based in the Cultural Quarter of Leicester. We offer film, video and television production services globally. Productions cover online/social content, advertisements, television and documentaries. Clients include Channel 4, BBC, Sony and Academy Award winning companies Cooke Optics and Panavision. Our services include concept development, pre-production, filming and editing.

As part of our expansion moving forward, we are looking for a new core team member that will be responsible for camera operating and editing. The work will be varied and you will be working on several projects at once.

As part of this role you will be pre-producing the shoots alongside the production team. You will be shooting solo and as part of a bigger production team, depending on the project. For post production, you will be working with the team to edit projects using the Adobe Suite.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting/working with the managing directors and producer to achieve responsibilities and duties
Pre-producing a variety of film projects
Creatively inputting ideas for new projects
Preparing the equipment before and after shoots
Camera operating on a variety of Sony Cinemaline cameras
Recording/monitoring audio using lapel and shotgun microphones.
Producing/Directing the production during solo camera operator jobs where a producer is not present
Using an array of LED and tungsten lights on set for lighting interviews, locations and studios
Data wrangler on set and in the office
Editing and grading, using Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
Liaising directly with the client during various stages of the edit drafts
Reviewing video output and ensuring it is of the highest quality


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong handheld and gimbal camera operating experience
Cinematography experience
A clear understanding of exceptionally produced, captured and edited film and video content.
Working with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro and After Effects)
Understanding and experience of shooting and grading LOG footage
Sound mixing
Client Liaison experience
Proactive, committed, quick thinking and able to work calmly under pressure to deliver to any kind of deadline.
A team player at every level, and able to work with stakeholders to see a project through to completion.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to get on with people at all levels.
Excellent communication, written skills and organisational ability.
Full UK driving licence

WORKING HOURS, PATTERNS AND ENVIRONMENT

8 hour days (flexible working hours available).
General office hours are 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Although flexible hours are offered depending on deadlines.
We expect the candidate to work from the Leicester office where possible, although remote working solutions are offered and we are happy to negotiate these terms.
The Leicester office is available 24 hours a day.
Additional hours may be required when working off-site at shoots or meeting deadlines.
3-6 month probation period.
