Video Content Editor

London / Hybrid HYBRID

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity in our London office for a talented Video Editor to join our growing production team and provide support with lighting, production planning, shooting, file management and postproduction for studio and location video-shoots and filmmaking. This is a newly created role, giving you a chance to make an instant impact and play a significant role in an early stage of
a fast-growing company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Video Editor you will assist the Videographer by organising and editing visual content captured by the content production teams
Support all day-to-day studio operations and core seasonal / special project workflows
help execute the creative vision and be part of the team that delivers compelling content specific to platform requirements and aligned to platform
Contribute to key activities across video and postproduction projects
Working with a team of mixed disciplines of designers, artworkers, copywriters and marketers from concept through to completion
Build good cross functional relationships with internal departments and assist on production and external collaborators communications
Support the shoot team on all studio operations, organise equipment on set, support on lighting and offer other technical support where needed
General up keep of our photo studio space, product organisation and props
Helping with post production, retouching and video editing

Requirements
2 years' industry experience in a similar role for a production agency or fashion/lifestyle brand
Degree level education in a related field (photography, video) or equivalent experience
Proven knowledge/experience using DSLR cameras and photo/video equipment
Proven experience of building effective relationships and managing stakeholders within various
Internal departments and external collaborators

SKILLS

Strong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite workflow and experience using DaVinci
Resolve or Final Cut
A keen interest and experience in motion and video with knowledge in Adobe After Effects or
similar video editing tool
Strong retouching and video editing skills
Excellent communication skills including questioning, listening and interpreting
Passion for learning and contributing the wider team efforts
Strong organization skills and a hands-on, can-do approach
Ability to assist team members with managing asset libraries and coordination of imagery
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment, essential
Strong team spirit, self-motivation, not afraid to roll-up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get a job done
