Video Content Creator

Southampton

We are searching for a skilled and innovative Video Content Creator to join our Marketing team.

The responsibilities of this role include set up, recording, and editing of film projects, working with teams to create scripts and liaising with key stakeholders on the production of film. You should be an expert in lighting, angles, filters, and filming as well as post-production techniques and software.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent time management skills, the ability to turn a vision into reality, be highly artistic, alongside exceptional video editing and computer skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Exceptional candidates will have a firm grasp on animation techniques, fundamentals, and software.

Responsibilities
* Producing film to be used across platforms and mediums to the benefit of the brand.
* Photography and videography of experiential, social media and event videos.
* Working alongside the marketing team to set up a content calendar and work on an overall brand video strategy.
* Work on social media content and visuals.
* Assisting with the wider Marketing Team on copywriting for brochures, website, blog, handbooks, social media, following the brand tone of voice guidelines.
* Plan and organise external photography and videography resources where needed on projects.
* Assist creatively in projects.
* Postproduction and editing of all photography and videography.
* Uploading creative content onto the company's website and online drives.
* Work collaboratively with other team members, designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and visual identity.
? * Assist in Graphic Design projects where needed.
* Collaborating with graphic designers, digital marketing assistant and coordinator to deliver projects.
* Collaborating with the client and marketing team members in film projects to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit animations.
* Using software and other techniques to produce animations.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience
* Able to deliver high quality video, photography and designs.
* Postproduction and editing of video and photography.
* Experience in designing brand content for web, desktop and mobile.
* Creative thinker, articulate and persuasive and able to communicate operational initiatives and outcomes to a broad range of stakeholder groups.
* Good, creative and confident writer, high attention to detail in correct spelling and punctuation.
* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premier Pro.
* Degree (or similar) in Videography, photography or equivalent experience in the creative or graphic design field.
* The ability to work for long periods on projects.
* A passion for film, good eye for detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
* Expert working with cameras and lighting.
* Film/digital portfolio.
* Proficiency with animation software.
* Understanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniques.
* Ability to work independently or with a team to develop film projects and solve problems.
