We're seeking a Video Animator / Editor to join our growing rapidly growing Glasgow or Bucharest offices. This person is a strong conceptual thinker with outstanding creative abilities. Someone who has a deep knowledge of all areas of video production, videography, editing, animating, sound and 3D.

What you'll be doing:
* Continually maintain and improve the standard of motion graphics, animation and editing and created at Retina
* Be the go-to person for any queries, questions or advice related to anything video, audio or animation related
* Cultivate relationships with production partners for when production support is required
* Creating dynamic animations and motion graphics
* Brainstorming ideas and concepts for breakthrough video and audio content
* Maintaining expertise in videography and audio production
* Preparing concept treatments, storyboards and animatics/prototypes
* Working closely with creative colleagues and third-parties - and maintaining a database of reliable equipment and crew
* Video and image sourcing
* Taking ownership of projects assigned and ensure they meet agreed deadlines to agreed standards
* Demonstrating a strong attention to detail and process
* Helping create production estimates and managing production budgets, schedules and delivery

What we're looking for
* 3-7 years of video production/animation experience in agency, in-house setting or production company
* Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Editing/Graphics Software (Premiere, AfterEffects); fluency in Microsoft Office/Apple software (Word, PowerPoint, Keynote)
* 3D experience a huge plus - Cinema 4D or Maya
* University degree (undergraduate level) in Communications, design or another creatively or culturally interesting field and/or completion of an ad/design school program
* Experience working in B2B or business marketing in complex categories a plus
