As a Video and Motion Designer, this is what you'll be doing:

We're looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic designer to join our growing Creative Studio at QS.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality regular video content for our website and social media that communicate the brand's values and personality, and appeal to its target audiences. You'll be working with the Content and Marketing teams to review audio and visual footage, editing clips into cohesive content, as well as creating short animations using our character library.

As the sole Motion Graphics Designer there will also be the opportunity to work closely with Head of Studio to define a video and animation style guide for all QS, developing best practices and standards.

Role responsibilities:

Working collaboratively with our international Creative Studio
Taking an active role in Creative Critique sessions, to provide and receive constructive feedback from team members and adapt projects accordingly
Working strategically with Marketing, Content and Creative peers and stakeholders in an open and collaborative environment
Expanding on existing branding for refresh and evolution, and suggesting innovative motion design ideas
Sharing inspirational content examples, and keeping up with trends
Generating new exciting ideas for video/animation from bespoke single pieces to motion's role in larger campaign themes
Developing easy-to-use templates for efficiency and consistency across all video/motion content
Prioritising own tasks based on business strategy and potential impact of projects
Maintaining, organising and packaging video project files
Data-driven in decision-making, basing new videos off most successful previous content and making recommendations to stakeholders
Communicating clearly with stakeholders, building positive relationships and managing expectations effectively
Studio located Hampstead Heath, London (~ once per week in the office)

Key skills and experience:

Proficiency in Adobe suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere and Audition
Experience creating social media content for a variety of platforms
Confidence and experience in having creative input in design and strategy
Excellent time management skills and finding efficiencies in workflow, including using technologies like AI and platforms for automation
Willingness to learn and motivation for development
A diverse portfolio demonstrating skills in motion design, video editing and audio editing, as well as the ability to produce video content of several styles for different target audiences
Experience in Click Up (or similar task management system)
Experience liaising with freelancers/agencies a plus
Ability to film with DSLR camera a plus
