Unreal Tutor - part time, contract basis

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Visiting Tutor who is a subject expert in Unreal Engine 4 to support the delivery of our Virtual Production Certificate course. The course will run from January 2022 to July 2022 and, as Unreal tutor, you will be expected to lead on selected sessions during this time. Sessions will normally occur on either a weekend day or a weekday evening. Some sessions may be delivered remotely via Zoom, and some will be delivered in person at our Beaconsfield site.

We are seeking subject experts in Unreal who can teach confidently in one or more of the following areas; Lighting, World Design, Blueprint Programming, Animation and Sequencer, Shaders and Material Creation, Particles and VFX, and Asset Optimization. Applicants must be highly skilled and have a creative portfolio/showreel, and an excellent understanding of real-time rendering technologies. Experience in Virtual Production, and the use of real-time technologies in filmmaking is preferred. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator with a passion for student learning.
