Trainee Theatre Administrator

London

The Trainee Theatre Administrator position is a great opportunity for an aspiring theatre professional to work at an independent producing theatre, developing a broad range of skills that will support a career as an arts producer or manager.

In a small and highly achieving producing office, the Trainee Administrator will gain hands-on experience in theatre administration across a diverse programme of work. The Trainee Theatre Administrator will support the General Manager/Producer across day-to-day office administration, scheduling and coordination, financial reconciliation, recruitment of staff and artists, and producing support.

Part of a closeknit team, the Trainee Theatre Administrator will work directly with the joint-CEOs and Senior Leadership Team, learning by listening and contributing to discussions, they will also participate in training and development initiatives, and have the opportunity to work with OT colleagues across all theatre departments.

This opportunity is only open to individuals from a group that is under-represented in the creative industries. This includes, but is not limited to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse candidates, disabled people, those undergoing gender reassignment / transitioning and individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

The successful candidate for this opportunity will also participate in a Creative Access support programme that sits alongside workplace training. This includes a programme of induction training, monthly masterclasses, wellbeing support, buddying/mentoring, and more.
