Lime Kids' & Family Trainee Script Editor scheme is an amazing opportunity for someone who has a passion for storytelling and for children's drama. We are looking to develop the next generation of talent. This is entry level so you don't need industry experience - what is important to us is your enthusiasm, drive and creativity.

The scheme will run for 12 months working alongside our award-winning Kids & Family development team, who have a track record in making shows for Disney, Netflix, BBC and Nickelodeon. During your time at Lime Pictures, we will give you in-depth on the job training to help you develop a broad understanding, knowledge and experience of what it means to be a Script Editor. At the end of the 12 months, you will be well-equipped to apply for Assistant Script Editor positions across the industry.

Lime Kids' & Family develop and produce content which aims to reflect accurately and be enjoyed by as many people as possible. We recognise that Script Editors from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities are underrepresented in our industry and are committed to redressing this issue in line with our Diversity and Inclusion Policies and Initiatives, so this scheme is specifically for people from these underrepresented ethnic groups.

This is an entry level scheme so is aimed at those with less than 12 months experience in the TV industry. You will need to be aged 18+ when the scheme begins in May 2022 to apply. You can apply if you hold a degree, but you must have completed your education when the scheme begins as this is a full-time opportunity.
