Are you a lover of all things social media?Enjoy talking to new people, getting to know their stories?Like the sound of working somewhere where each day is different?If you've said yes to any of the above - this job might be just for you.ITV Cymru Wales, in partnership with S4C are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to develop their career in the world of Journalism, creating content in the Welsh language.'Hansh Dim Sbin' S4C'sYour day to day will involve reacting to stories that are happening in the news creating content for social media platforms in a fun and engaging way - with a keen focus of putting a young twist on them. You will also be writing Welsh language news articles for S4C's news service and producing digital video content for the service. Additionally, you'll be able to research and create your own original journalism content on topics ranging from celebrity culture, to social justice stories.You will have a keen interest in news and current affairs and an excellent understanding of a variety of social media platforms and how they can be utilised but also have the drive and passion to find a variety of new voices and stories from the corners of Wales that are sometimes under-represented.All you have to do to apply is to send in a CV and a 2 minute video.YoutubePlease record your answers to the following two questions:Full name, where you're from and your preferred pronouns.I'm interested in being the next trainee journalist because.......What topics are you passionate about and how would they work for digital audiences?The answers should be sent as one video, with the total duration being no longer than 2 minutes.Skills you'll need (minimum criteria).Fluency in Welsh language (both spoken and written)Journalistic instinctCreative thinkerGreat understanding of digital platforms and strategiesA passion to increase representation and improve accessibility of Welsh language news content for young audiencesOther things we're looking for (key criteria).Keen interest in news and current affairsStrong communication and language skillsTeam player
