However, we will also consider applicants with experience in areas such as mechanical/electrical engineering, electronics and broadcast engineering.We provide full training on our equipment, procedures and health and safety.Key responsibilities:testing, maintaining and configuration of equipment.rigging and derigging of equipment at various outside broadcast locations.troubleshooting and fault-finding issues on site.driving to and from locations with equipment.THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IFEssential Skills:good computing/I.T. awarenessholds a full UK driving licenceexcellent attention to detail and committed to achieve goalsworks well within a teamability to use your own initiative and manage time effectivelyinterest in TV technologies, media and live broadcastingability to solve problems systematicallyinterest in learning with positive 'can-do' attitudeOther Beneficial Skills:experience with audio, video and RF equipmentbasic electrical and electronics knowledgebasic mechanical skills and ability with hand toolsability to document progress and resultsbasic computer skills including Word/ExcelCAD and 3D printing experiencebasic IT, scripting and programming skillsexperience in broadcast or live events environmentexperience in basic PCB designexperience in making audio, video and RF cablesPAT testing experienceinterest in cameras/photography, sound or RF
