Cinesite London is recruiting a Tracker/Matchmover to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for extracting the camera and/or object motion from live-action plates to be used in 2D and 3D environments. The ideal candidate should be motivated and well-organized, with the desire to work within a fast-paced team of highly-skilled and experienced artists.

The Role:

Use given information to digitally recreate onset environment.
Accurately extract movement from footage using tracking techniques established in house.
Deploy practical problem-solving skills to solve any 3D camera issues.
Produce basic composites for presentations to supervisors.
Provide work to a high standard within Production targets.
We'd like to talk to you if you have the following:

Thorough understanding of camera and rigid-body tracking, and the use of survey data when generating camera and objects tracks (essential).
Experience using 3DE and Maya (essential). Experience using other tracking packages will be taken into consideration (e.g. Boujou, Matchmover, Syntheyes, Pftrack).
Experience with 3D Roto Animation; matching digital models to live-action plates (advantageous).
Understanding of real-world camera attributes such as apertures, lenses and distortion.
Familiarity with 2D tracking using Nuke (advantageous).
Ability to work well within a team environment and to take direction from Cinesite's Producers and Supervisors as appropriate.
Previous film industry experience.
