Jump Start Jonny, a renowned online fitness personality for kids (www.jumpstartjonny.co.uk), is seeking a hardworking individual to join our team as a Tour Production Assistant. The role involves managing the technical aspects of our live show in primary schools during the UK tour from January 8th to March 22nd, 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Get in and get out: Set up and dismantle a simple set comprising roller banners and speakers.
*Tech Operations: Run the tech during the show, involving playing the next track (experience with QLab or similar software is advantageous but not necessary).
*Content Creation: Film and edit short videos for social media using a smartphone or DSLR (own camera and editing program is ideal but not necessary).
*Travel: Drive between tour locations. Car provided.

EXAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:

7 am: Drive to school
8 am: Get in
9 am - 10:30 am: Show (two 45-minute performances)
11 am: Get out
12 pm: Drive to the next location
1 pm: Arrive at next location

TOUR DETAILS:

*Starts in Worthing (West Sussex) on January 8th
*Locations include Oxford, Norfolk, and Newcastle - and many more
*Weekly schedule varies (5 shows some weeks, 1-3 shows others. You'll be paid the same amount regardless.)
*Rehearsals TBC on 4th , 6th, 7th or 8th Jan 2024. You will be paid for rehearsal days.

REQUIREMENTS:

*Skills & Experience: Filming and editing skills are ideal but not necessary.
*Equipment: Ideally, you have your own camera and editing program, but not necessary.
*Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with QLab or other show cueing programs is advantageous but not necessary.
*Driving: A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are essential.
*Rehearsals: Need to be available for rehearsals in Worthing on any of these dates which are yet TBC: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th Jan. You will be paid for these days.
