Theatre Director

The Theatre Director is directly responsible for ensuring the continuing artistic, commercial, and community success of the Beck Theatre through excellent, innovative programming; community engagement and creative learning; audience growth; first-class customer service; and the success and popularity of a range of targeted, in-house managed hospitality activities which form a key part of HQT&H's distinctive approach. Through dynamic leadership of the theatre team, the Theatre Director will have full P&L responsibility for all aspects of the Beck Theatre's operation, applying entrepreneurial expertise to increase its attractiveness to audiences and customers, and to further grow the business.

Our ideal applicant will be ambitious, a strong leader, commercially astute, and able to offer a career history culminating in successful management in a live entertainment setting - underpinned with programming expertise, ideally combined with successful experience in general venue management and /or marketing. We shall be very interested to hear candidates' ideas about the new directions the programme might successfully take.

The remuneration package includes a competitive salary up to £60k and bonus incentives, private healthcare, pension provision and relocation assistance.
