Technical Rigger Required for successful Prompting Company

Job Summary:

To test and prepare equipment at base, and to deliver, rig and de-rig as required at locations across London and occasionally further afield. Our kit consists of laptop based operator base stations, on camera prompting monitors, and glass conference stands. This is a physically demanding job which requires technical ability.

You will work 5 days a week, which will include a minimum of one weekend in three. Our riggers work shift patterns which will be either 7-4, 9-6, or 11-8, and you may often be required on earlier or later de-rigs which are required as part of the job for which overtime is paid.

This is a busy, customer facing role where no two days are alike and you will spend much of your time away from base unsupervised. You will work most closely with other riggers and Autoscript operators at locations including all the major television studios, and on a wide variety of television, film corporate work, conferences and award shows. There is some scope to gain skills as an Autoscript operator if desired, so touch typing and a good grasp of English are advantageous but not essential.

- Punctuality & Attention to detail are paramount
