Primate Planet Productions is based at Monkey World in Dorset, we produce the longest running animal documentary series called 'Monkey Life'. We are looking for a enthusiastic graduate to join our small team on a full time contract. A keen interest in TV production and basic understanding of editing systems such as Avid is required. Full training will be given on our workflows etc. This would be an ideal position for someone looking for their first employment in the TV industry.Job Description:Copying of media from shoots, checking media transfer before cleaning cardsData wrangling and second camera in the park (and on location when required)Transcoding and encoding with AMC and ingesting media onto active storage systemInputting and editing of technical and descriptive metadataLogging drives and media, ensuring that all media is properly accounted forLogging content of rushesTranscribing interviews and updating scripts during the offlinePreparing offline projectsMedia housekeeping and content management, following in-house archiving proceduresThorough checking and fault finding of all work
