We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our small but busy postproduction and technical support team. We are looking for someone with a willingness to help with all aspects of post- production and technical support.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who's keen to get involved with helping technically grow all departments. The chosen candidate will work across all our productions which range from short form promos, social content, TV commissions and films.

Technical Assistant Responsibilities:

Helping manage footage ingests and transcodes.
Media Management.
Troubleshooting in suites.
Undertaking Quality Control and transcoding of all deliverables.Setting up and managing media - Frame.io / Evercast Sessions / Webex sessions. Archiving and backing up finished productions
Adhoc duties specific to post-production workflows.
Assisting Edit, Colour, VFX and producers to ensure smooth workflow of jobs. Knowledge of sound suites a bonus.
Helping to build automated work flows.
Training freelance and any full time assistants.

Some of our expectations for the role include:

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. In particular Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
Experience of broadcast file formats, codecs, wrappers.
Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
Prior experience in film / TV post-production.
Ability to work as part of a team and confident to work independently Desirable - to have knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Resolve, Flame.

Salary dependent on experience.
