Team Assistant

London

Ringside Studios is a new high-end television drama production company based in central London launched by award-winning producer Gub Neal with the backing of France's Newen Group.

Closing date for applications: Wednesday 25 November.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting Team Assistant to join our very small team and provide essential administrative support as we move into a period of production (alongside our ongoing development activities).

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the diaries of three executives. Setting meetings, arranging travel etc.
• Liaising with (initially) two high end drama productions which go into formal pre-production in early 2020. Providing administrative services as required.
• Processing expense returns, invoices etc and supporting the company accountant.
• General administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

The successful applicant will have:

• Proven administrative experience in the sector.
• An excellent professional attitude, strong organisational skills and a focus on detail.
• An ability to work productively under pressure and without constant supervision.
• A passion for television drama and a good understanding of the process of TV drama production.

Other desirable qualities and experience:

• Familiarity with Final Draft, Adobe, Excel etc.
• On-set experience.

Would suit someone who has good experience as a production secretary, runner, assistant or similar and is interested in moving in house and working across multiple projects at various stages of development and production.

PLEASE NOTE this is an administrative, not a development role.

During the current Covid period it will also require working from home (though we hope to be able to return to office working in the not too distant future).

Please apply with CV and covering letter.

We regret that we will only be able to respond to applicants who have been shortlisted for interview.
