What does a Subtitling Operator do at Gramercy Park Studios?

The Subtitling Operator will play a vital role within the Subtitling team by delivering English-speaking video content transcript, subtitle spotting lists for translation and online accessibility caption and transcript files in the English language.

The Subtitling Operator will work closely with Transcreation and Video production teams on multiple accounts to help meet client's subtitling needs. You will have working knowledge of subtitling best practices and be able to provide subtitling and captioning expertise to clients and internal stakeholders.

Reporting lines and key stakeholders:

This role reports to the Head of Subtitling, Global Lead, London
You will work closely with the Account, Language and Video production teams.

Requirement:

*Proven history of subtitling experience
*Native command of English with excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar
*Understanding of standard subtitling guidelines and best practice
*Excellent knowledge of Subtitling softwares
*Working Experience in EN SDH captioning
*Ability to learn new software and tools quickly
