Studio Technician & Videographer

Main Purpose of Role
As part of the Media Team, you will be responsible for creating video content for training, promotional purposes, and internal engagement activities.

This role is production-based working on animation, webinars, e-learning packages, training, and promotional resources but you will also be responsible for the day to day operations of the studio and carrying out any booking/recordings.

The work will be incredibly varied and will involve some travel and the ability to work alone on occasion. You will be the "face" of the studio facility based in Birmingham providing "front of house" activities. This role will have two main functions.
Video and Audio Production:
* Animation creativity: being able to translate ideas in animation (possibly using Adobe After Effect)
* Editing videos (possibly using Adobe Premiere)
* A knack for story telling
* Setting up and monitoring the studio for live and non-live events
* Setting up, and filming multi-cam productions

Fort Dunlop Studio Management:
* Carry out daily tasks/bookings for the studio, maintenance of the electronic equipment & manage studio calendar and meet deadlines for post-production work on time.
* Direct presenting staff to get the best out of the technology/video set up as required.

Most travel will be UK focussed, with a smaller amount of international travel as required.

Skills and Experience Required
We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...

We know it's not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role's location by the start of their employment.

You will also need:
* Advanced Adobe Suite software knowledge (e.g. Adobe Premier, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop & Audition)
* Advanced camera operator experience and knowledge, using any camera with ease and able to carry out multicam shoots on their own if necessary.
* Being able to shoot offsite at various locations and adapt to surroundings.
* Intermediate experience in using live streaming software's e.g. Adobe Connect, vMix or any other similar software's.
* Professional, friendly, and punctual attitude to their job and others.
* Being able to work at a fast pace (fast turnaround for editing work at high quality).
* Innovative.
* Team player.
