Studio Production Coordinator

London

Our Penguin Creative team are looking for an organised and creative Production Coordinator.

If you're an excellent communicator who loves books, video and photography, this is the role for you. Penguin Creative is a team made up of designers, photographers and film makers, creating Penguin's visual direction through video, digital and campaign work.

Reporting in to the Creative Director and working alongside the AV Producers and Photographer, you will be helping to deliver a consistent, quality production output and ensuring that our brands are seen as innovative and engaging.

There will be project meetings where the team can brainstorm on how to make the big ideas happen and you'll assist in the production process.

You'll ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time, and with the right equipment, and making sure we're working to the timescale. You'll help secure locations for shooting and maintain the equipment.

On the people side of things, you are the main point of contact for anyone wanting to book the studio and production team. You'll also liaise with internal stakeholders on the best and most cost-effective solution for their needs. You'll need to keep all relevant parties updated on progress, and handle feedback in a coherent and timely manner.

We're looking for someone who:

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bring out the best in other people.
Is detail orientated, even under tight deadlines and with limited resources, and passionate about the creative process.
Has strong IT skills and familiarity with computer packages such as Microsoft Office, and an understanding of social media marketing would be a bonus.
Has worked in a creative team environment, ideally in Video
Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro CC and After Effects would be also be advantageous.
A confident, creative person, comfortable expressing ideas and even being in front of the camera on occasion would also be advantages
