We are looking for an experienced and proactive Studio Manager for our fast paced highly creative in-house design department. You'll be working alongside the Marketing Design Manager coordinating and overseeing the smooth day to day running of our Design teams.

This is a new role in the department with the goal of streamlining workflows, improving briefing processes, being more organised and getting the most out of
the resources in the department.

The role:

As part of the Design Planning & Delivery team, you will be a key point of contact for everyone in the business. You'll be responsible for the planning, organisation, coordination and successful delivery of the work produced by the design studio.

Taking requirements from stakeholders across the business, preparing briefs and overseeing projects from beginning to end, ensuring timely delivery. The projects you will oversee will include internal communications, branding, product development and any other design needs from the business. This means,
that your stakeholders will vary; you can be taking requirements from our CEO, CPO or one of our talented brand managers - also anyone in the business might have a design request at some point!

Working as a team alongside the Marketing Design Manager, you'll collaborate on processes, tooling and planning, to ensure the Design Planning & Delivery team is focusing on the highest priorities in line with the business strategy.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the design studio backlog
Manage resource allocation, projects and workflows
Create detailed design roadmaps for every project
Forward planning in terms of resource management and recruitment
Prioritise projects and tasks in line with the business strategic goals
Ensure an effective prioritisation mechanism is in place for all studio design work
Support the development and use of tools to track the design studio pipeline against business goals (e.g. Aha!)
Create reports that can be used in PDG to offer visibility of design tracking for any given project
Develop best practise tools and frameworks for the creative teams to use
Liaise with stakeholders to understand needs and turn those into effective creative briefs
Work with the creative teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and that they have all the information needed
Plan in-depth cross team projects with a good understanding of timings and dependencies
Work with the Head of Graphics and Team Leads to ensure project timings are in line with the creative team's capacity
Project manage creative requests from briefing to completion
Create and maintain project schedules ensuring that project status is kept up to date
Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and measure expectations
Develop close and constructive working relationships across all areas of the business
Work close to directors to plan and organise high-visibility projects (e.g. Company Quarterly Presentations)
Create reports to indicate performance vs budget and create an action plan for improvement when needed
Build out key processes within the team to improve process of tracking and sharing visibility
As part of the Design Delivery team, build a process to maintain roadmaps and plans across all design teams
Offer visibility to the head of department
Skills & Experience required:

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Experience managing resources, setting priorities and reporting
Experience managing external resource if needed
Ability to manage processes effectively and constantly learn and optimise
Ability to juggle multiple demands and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage senior stakeholders
Be a confident decision maker
Proactive attitude and a great problem solver
Think strategically and outside the box
Good understanding of digital, tv, social channels and print campaigns
Experience in design / creative agencies is a nice to have!
