Studio Director - Loose Women

A fantastic opportunity has come up to join Loose Women as the Studio Director.

We are keen to hear from established Studio Directors, with experience of delivering successful multi camera live, magazine style formats. Ideally our Studio Director will have strong experience of directing crews whilst maintaining a smooth-running gallery and being technically involved with setting up OBs and other complex items for the show.

A previous knowledge and enthusiasm for Loose Women would be preferred, as the successful candidate will be able to capture the 'heart' of our show with those intimate moments and reactions from our women and guests on-screen.

We also require a director to have an innovative and creative approach and be willing to collaborate with the team on new and exciting ways to structure items and tell stories as well as constantly thinking of ways to make every single show feel like an event.

The main purpose of the role is to have a shared responsibility with the editors for the creative/set design/visual/graphical output of Loose Women and to lead and manage your direct reports, as well as the daily studio and gallery crew to ensure high performance and smooth operational running of the live show on air. To create and nurture a pool of talented studio directors to cover for holiday/sickness.

Our Studio Director will have strong leadership and management skills, as well as being a creative, enthusiastic and passionate team player. A knowledge and understanding of inews is essential.

You will come to us with excellent editorial judgement and a proven track record of defining and delivering outstanding content to tight and changing deadlines. An understanding of Loose Women's viewers and agenda is a must.
