Studio Assistant/Runner Vacancy - Park Village

We are looking for a full-time Studio Assistant/Runner to join our busy creative production studio in Camden Town. As a Studio Assistant/Runner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our studios, supporting our talented creatives, and contributing to the success of our internal productions and client shoots and events.

For this role we require someone who is enthusiastic, multi-skilled and eager to make a mark in the creative industries. The role will be largely client-facing so the individual must be comfortable dealing with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment. You will be working within a small, supportive team, reporting to our Studio Manager.

GENERAL DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support during shoots and events, assisting with equipment setup and breakdown, and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
Technical and physical support with equipment and lighting - ensuring all is well organised and maintained.
Assist with studio set-up and maintenance, ensuring a clean and organised workspace.
Provide support to our in-house production and post-production departments.
Collaborate closely with our team to ensure excellent communication and workflow.
Client hospitality - help client relations by providing great service and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Carry out procedures quickly and efficiently including: stock checks, studio replenishment, tidying, painting and moving heavy items.
Provide reception cover as and when required - answering phone calls, booking couriers and liaising with clients.
Make barista coffee for clients working and visiting the studio - Barista experience is an advantage but not essential.
Respond to client and internal team requests quickly and efficiently.
Contribute to the overall success of the company and individual projects by actively participating in brainstorming sessions and sharing creative ideas.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge - training and external courses are provided.
Key-holder duties to include opening and closing the studios.
Represent Park Village - have a true understanding of the company and it's vision and values.

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Previous studio assisting , running and hospitality experience would be beneficial.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities in an organised manner.
A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
Passion for the creative industry, with a particular interest in advertising and film & photography and event production.
Keen interest in technical aspects of shooting, whether film or photography.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and occasional weekends where required.
