Main Purpose of PositionYou will be responsible for running all webcast events; creating and QC's replay webcast links. Assisting Multimedia Producer to schedule webcast requests.Key Responsibilities and Duties• Experience within the corporate streaming field.• Quality assurance and troubleshooting.• Encode video and audio content (live and on-demand).• Media and web content integration (packaging).• Schedule and process webcast requests.• Webcast content distribution.• Liaise directly with clients to ensure proper setup and management of webcast events.• Extensive knowledge of streaming media technologies, CODECs, servers and multicast technologies. Knowledge of video compression technologies also essential.• Experience of the latest digital media, compression and transmission technologies.• Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Windows Media, Apple QuickTime and Flash video technologies.• Experience of using Content Management Systems, Accordent or other relevant Webcast/Video based software applications.• Provides technical support for aspects of live and on demand webcasting and video production services.• Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues within content creation process.Person Specification • Methodical, structured and self motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. The ability to work under pressure is essential.• Flexible, adaptable team-player; ability to work as part of a unit with global cross-coverage responsibilities.• Degree or equivalent experience in film, video or related field is required.• Strong client service, project management, organisation and prioritisation skills.• Strong knowledge of industry standard packaging tools for use within web environment.• Able to work as part of a team and multiple tasks simultaneously.• Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written skills.• High energy level; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.• Display a professional and courteous manner to all clients and technical staff.• Sharp organisation and prioritisation skills.• Extended hours as necessary.
