Rare TV are looking for a STORY PRODUCER to join our existing team on a returning documentary format for a US broadcaster. To start ASAP until August.This role can be full-time or a 4-day week for the right person.The role requires them to:• Have proven experience finding & recognising good stories.• Be skilled in developing & sustaining strong relationships with contributors and organisations.• Manage beat sheets & the story matrix. Staying across the story coverage of the series as a whole.• Have great communication with Production Manager, Exec Producers & shooting teams and confidence in scheduling the production alongside the Production Manager.• Support shooting teams from across the globe, assisting with story developments, contributor liaison & management of shoot notes.• Ideally be experienced working alongside edits or be previously credited as an Edit Producer.Applicants MUST have prior experience working on unscripted documentary productions at a Producer level.This role requires them to support a team in Alaska, from the UK, so some evening work will be required ad hoc.
