The premiere of the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins' internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate's motion-picture, The Hunger Games: On Stage comes to London in 2025.Adapted by multi award-winning playwright Conor McPherson and directed by Matthew Dunster, The Hunger Games: On Stage will be performed in a brand-new state-of-the-art venue, Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre. Job DescriptionAs Stage Manager, you will oversee all aspects of stage-operations on a large scale and complex theatre production. The Stage Manager works closely with the Director, Production and Creative teams and cast to ensure the smooth running of rehearsals and performances.You will be responsible for the Deputy Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Managers. Key Responsibilities:To take a leading role in creating a technically complex show through rehearsals, technical rehearsals and previews.To manage the Stage Management teamTo lead in the preparation and coordination of rehearsals, ensuring all technical and production requirements are met and ensuring they run efficiently and on scheduleTo track and document all cues for lighting, sound, projections, and set changes.To act as the primary point of contact for the director and production team during rehearsals and performancesTo supervise the load-in and load out To take overall responsibility for safety of cast and production team during show running, adhering to all health and safety protocols and guidelines Essential Criteria:Extensive proven experience (at least 2 years) setting up technically complicated and long running shows in the role of Stage ManagerExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proven experience in managing a departmentStrong communication and leadership skills, able to direct and collaborate with a large team under pressure.Experience with cue calling, stage operation, and managing live performances.
