Sport Video Editor - Full Time

Hours of work & location: Full time, working from our Hampshire office.

The Job

We work with the UK's most loved sports brands.

Here's a snapshot of our production workload from the past couple of months:

- The FA: Filming at St. George's Park with the Lionesses

- Barbarians Rugby: Behind the scenes pre-match day filming with squad, editing social features, embedded with squad on match day and editing wrap features

- Royal Navy: Creative design, storyboarding, collaborating with our animator to develop a new concept for RN content & producing a fitness series for 2023

- England Rugby: Complete creative and production of player features with England Men & Women's Senior Squads. 3-4 camera live-streams of pre/post-match pitch-side entertainment.

- World Rugby: Produce a news feature on developments in the global game

- Harlequins Rugby: Create, capture and deliver stylized features, used at Harlequins end of season awards

- Soccer Aid: Produce daily sport and celebrity features to promote and drive the Soccer Aid proposition

- England Rugby: Creative concept and full production on a launch video for exciting developments in the women's game

- Gloucester Rugby: Considered, stylised player features

- Allianz Premier 15s: 10 x episode series of short character films, showcasing women in elite rugby

We are looking for a skillful, experienced and dynamic sport video editor to join our in-house team at The Media Bunker, working with sport's most loved people, brands and businesses.

We're passionate about sport & production.

We're an independent production team, so being a true team player, having a positive attitude and being able to flex on projects are vital.

Skills and experience required:

· MUST be able to edit on Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop to a high standard: hype cuts, news features, documentaries, long/short form content

· MUST be confident to work as part of a large crew or as a sole operator

· MUST have 5 years of professional production experience

· MUST be a daily user, to a professional standard of Adobe suite

· MUST have a passion for sport and sport content

· CREATIVE ABILITY - to inspire and suggest treatments and concepts to our team and our clients

· Capacity to coach and inspire team members - particularly junior members

· THOROUGH understanding of social platforms - knowledge of formats, keen to feed in creative suggestions

· DESIRE & ABILITY to produce heavily pre-produced, crafted and stylised features as well as rapid turnaround edits ie. pitchside or on location with a team

· Desire to play your part in a progressive business, open minded about development and taking on challenges

· A hardworking, enthusiastic attitude is key to this role

We're a team of digital content producers who work nimbly as a crew on a wide variety of sport, music and corporate projects; maybe live-streaming branded content at Twickenham for England Rugby/O2, producing recruitment content for the Royal Navy, or working solo, say, a single-camera news feature from a beach in Cornwall.

Who are you?

Attitude is everything and we're looking for an experienced digital video editor who can create premium sports content.

You'll be a skillful editor, with a proven background in producing professional, inspiring video content. Most of our work is rugby and other sports, so a passion and appetite for sport content is essential.

Great knowledge of digital, video and social content - as a producer and as a consumer.

Our editors use the latest MacBook Pros and the Adobe suite.

You will need:

Ability to work on your own or as a part of a dynamic team is essential.
