Great Big Events (International) are currently seeking experienced Event Managers / Sport Producers to work full time and short term contracts in our London office to manage a wide range of events.

Successful candidates' qualifications/skills:

Proven experience in a similar or equivalent role
Previous experience working in Sport Presentation or Live Production environments
Experience working within large scale venues at high profile events, or within back of house environments.
A proactive team member and a strong communicator
Ability to work well under pressure and in diverse operational environments
Ability to manage multiple event tasks simultaneously
Well presented and organised

Key responsibilities:

Generate event budgets and overall business expenditure
Source and book event, technical and entertainment staff and assume the overall responsibility for completion of project on time and within budget;
Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, broadcasters and venue staff
Direct volunteers, contractors and staff during operational times
Oversee the preparation of all related documentation including but not limited to, event day operational documents, run sheets, cue sheets, scripts and correspondence
Showcall 'direct' live Sport Presentation elements
Organise and manage event rehearsals
Oversee operational logistical elements at designated venues
Develop marketing strategies including new business opportunities
