We are looking for a film sound recordist. 1st & 2nd April. Totnes, Devon.

The film will be directed by acclaimed analogue film artists: Edd Carr & Saul Pankhurst. Producer: On the Record for United Response - a Charity that supports people with learning difficulties and autism.

The film explores a unique peer-to-peer interviewing methodology designed by United Response and Dr Jan Walmsley. People with learning difficulties and autism will be learning how to record each others' life histories during the film shoot period.

Kit & expertise.
An experienced sound recordist who is expert in the use of a boom mic and wireless radio mics. You'll have a recording device with at least 4 channels.
You'll be accustomed to working alongside a camera or two.

1st and 2nd April, 10am - 2.30pm
£700 in total + travel expenses.
We are hiring a car from London so you could travel up with Edd Carr on the afternoon/ evening of the 31st March.

Person specification
Sensitive to the communication preferences of participants with & without learning difficulties and autism.
Friendly and approachable.

Location / Job
You'll be recording small group discussions (6-7 people) with a boom + wireless mic on a keynote speaker. Indoors.
You'll also be recording practice interviews between 2 - 3 speakers. Both indoors and outside if the weather is fine.
