About the role:

Stylist is looking for a Social Video Producer to join their editorial team.

Reporting to the Head of Social Media and working closely with the Digital Content Director, Magazine Editor, and Editorial Director, you will bring experience creating and editing social video for a digital publication.

This role demands an enthusiastic approach to coming up with fresh ideas for how to showcase the Stylist brand combined with confidence in filming and editing video for social media.

The successful candidate will also have an instinctive understanding of how to serve the Stylist reader and will uphold our purpose to help women through the work that we do. An understanding of the topics that appeal to our audience - from feminism through to fashion - is also essential.

What to expect:

Working with the Head of Social Media, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our social media video strategy across various platforms, creating video content for TikTok, Instagram and more. You will be comfortable getting the wider team involved in creating social media moments and attending events and shoots to gather behind the scenes social media content.

Responsibilities:

To strategise and create Stylist's social media video content
To work with key brand ambassadors on the team to build Stylist's profile and online presence
To generate concepts for new social media only franchises and brand moments
To be adept at spotting new trends and conversation points as they emerge, and make sure Stylist is at the forefront of these focal points
To work with the editorial team to ensure ambitious KPIs and deadlines are met
Generate ideas and create video and social content for commercial clients

Requirements
Essential:

An extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how to grow and engage audiences
Experience in filming and editing video for social media platforms
The ability to work collaboratively and creatively with the wider editorial team
To be well organised and able to juggle lots of different deadlines while working at pace
A wealth of ideas on how to best make the brand shine on social media through video content
Accuracy and attention to detail
Comfort in front of the camera as well as behind it
An in-depth understanding of the Stylist brand
