Social Video Producer (Facebook)

MailOnline is seeking Social Video Producers to transform compelling news and pop culture stories into engaging social video content.

Candidates will source, package and publish videos from our fast-paced London newsroom, telling popular stories to millions of people around the world. You will have your finger on the pulse of trending topics that resonate with our target audience across social platforms including Facebook and TikTok.

As part of our global Social Video team, your insights, creativity, and understanding of what young people are talking about online will shape our approach, ensuring MailOnline remains the number one news brand on social. Specialisms in topics including World News, Crime, Politics, Showbiz, Gaming, Lifestyle and more are welcome but not strictly necessary.

Responsibilities:
* Source, script, and produce video content for social media platforms.
* Write engaging copy to boost audience engagement and retention.
* Gather performance data to help shape and refine content strategies.
* Collaborate with teams across the company to create popular video content.
* Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends on social media platforms.

Required Skills & Qualities
* Familiarity with Daily Mail's content on Facebook and TikTok.
* Skilled using Adobe Premiere with After Effects as an advantage.
* Experience in content creation for social media accounts.
* Ability to shoot video, both in studio and in the field.
* Adept video editor with attention to detail.
* Flexibility and adaptability to match the dynamic nature of a busy newsroom environment.

This is a fully office based role in our offices in High Street Kensington.
