Designing a better future.about the roleSocial is a key and powerful part of how we communicate with and engage our community. This pivotal role will shape how we show up across all of our social media channels - both existing and future.As the Social Media Senior Executive at Pangaia, you will be responsible for implementing the social media strategy across key platforms, the management, briefing and creation of social content and achieving rich brand storytelling across all platforms.You will have a proven track record of working across the leading Social Media platforms - including content optimisation and publishing algorithms, building and engaging communities, social listening and reporting, planning and execution of socially-led campaigns, and an understanding of the latest technologies impacting key global platforms.You live and breathe social, with your finger on the pulse of what's trending and build & engage social communities around those trends. You are naturally curious and always seeking out best practise examples, and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things.key responsibilitiesWork collaboratively with the social team members to build world class, highly innovative social campaigns for all key projects, that are insight-led and resonate with our target audience while driving reach and engagement.Work closely and collaboratively with the wider marketing teams, including Digital, Brand, Community and Customer Service teams to champion social-first ideas and activations.You will be responsible for weekly and monthly social media reporting and analytics. Keep track of social performance and lead optimisations that will drive a data-led content strategy.Identify social media trends, disruptive content opportunities and pitch ideas for new content on a weekly basis.You will be able to use a range of social media tools and analytics to gain insight and understanding into how our content performs and what our audience thinks.A brilliant copywriter and digital native, you'll know how to craft social media content to achieve both reach and engagement.RequirementsPrevious experience in social media rolesSolid social media marketing skills - experience in developing long term social media plans across all owned channelsConfidence in collaborating with teams internally and liaising with external partnersAnalytical mind, with the ability to collate, analyse and present data, and drive clear insightsA creative thinker who can come up with original, highly shareable social ideasHighly organised, managing multiple campaigns/projects at onceSelf-starter with an ambitious spirit, able to handle parallel work streams resourcefully and at pace, working both independently and collaborativelyCustomer service oriented with the ability to moderate conversations on social channelsDeep understanding of the key platform algorithmsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalUp to date on the latest social media platform trendsnice to havesCopywriting skillsSkilled with Adobe PhotoshopBasic video editing skills
