We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the exciting new role of Social Media Producer for ESPN. This role will be carried out on a freelance basis and is based in Hammersmith, West London. The Social Media Producer is responsible for planning, producing and posting innovative social media content across ESPN's channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Responsibilities include:Designing graphics and editing videos for use on ESPN's social media accountsTaking responsibility for the day-to-day curation of ESPN's social accountsBringing ESPN's coverage at shoots and events to life on social mediaWorking with the Social Media Lead on how best to cover forthcoming eventsWorking alongside the video team on the creation and promotion of quality contentDeputising for the Social Media Lead as requiredExperience and Qualifications required:An excellent working knowledge of all the major social media platformsExperience producing first class social media content, ideally for a leading sports brand, publication or teamA proven track record of producing content that flies on social mediaA solid understanding of all the major sports with a particular focus on footballSkills required:An excellent working knowledge of Photoshop and Premiere Pro or Final Cut XThe ability to be accurate, fun and exciting on every platformThe ability to multi-task and work to a high standard under tight deadlinesExperience using After Effects would be a bonus but it is not essentialThe successful applicant will need to be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as necessary to maintain a 24/7 operation.About ESPN:Working at ESPN is unlike anything else.
