We are currently looking for a candidate to fill the exciting new role of Social Media Producer, ESPN.co.uk. The role will be carried out by a freelancer with a flair for devising, developing and creating innovative and effective social media content across ESPN's channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. A sound knowledge of F1 is essential as the role will require a commitment to work weekends across the 2019 F1 calendar. The successful candidate will also be spread across ESPN's sports desk, covering football, rugby, MMA, boxing, NBA and NFL This role is based in The Walt Disney Company's EMEA head offices in Hammersmith, West London.Responsibilities:Filming and editing live and pre-recorded video content for social mediaDesigning graphics for use on social mediaTaking responsibility for the day-to-day curation of ESPN's social channelsReacting to breaking news in an engaging and exciting way on social mediaBringing our coverage at shoots and events to life on social mediaWorking with our Social Media Lead on how best to cover forthcoming eventsWorking with our video team on the creation and promotion of quality contentDeputising for the Social Media Lead as requiredExperience and Qualifications required:An excellent working knowledge of all the major social media platformsSufficient experience producing superb social media content, ideally for a large sports brand, media outlet or teamA track record of creating content that flies on social mediaA good understanding of social media analyticsSkills required:An excellent working knowledge of Photoshop and Premiere Pro or Final Cut XThe ability to multi-task and work to a high standard under tight deadlinesExperience using After Effects would be a bonus but it is not essentialAdditional Information:The successful candidate will need to be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as necessary to maintain a 24/7 media presence.
