Freelance Social Media Content Creator (Stills & Reels)

We're on the lookout for a creative and confident Social Media Content Creator to shoot and edit stills and short-form video (Reels) for independent businesses. This is a flexible freelance role with the potential for multiple 1-day shoots per month.

About the Role:
Capture engaging social-first content (photos and videos) during in-person shoots.
Work from a creative brief and shot list provided by us ahead of time, no pre-production required other than your sign-off on this.
Shoots take place on-location, mainly across Cambridge and North London.
You'll be working closely with passionate small business owners, so clear communication and a friendly presence on set is key.

What You'll Need:
Ability to shoot with either a DSLR/mirrorless camera or a current smartphone (iPhone 13+ or equivalent Android).
Confidence in creative direction you'll be the eyes and ears on set.
Experience editing photos and Reels for platforms like Instagram.
A sharp eye for aesthetics, framing, and storytelling.
Driving to and from shoots is helpful but not essential.

You MUST include examples of your social media content work to be considered for this position.

Frequency:
Flexible, freelance-based usually 1-3 shoot days per month, with potential for more.
Shoots are split into half a day of shooting, and half a day of editing.
